Welcome to the dorkside. It's going to be a bumpy ride...

Jeane Smith's a blogger, a dreamer, a dare-to-dreamer, a jumble sale queen, CEO of her own lifestyle brand and has half a million followers on twitter.

Michael Lee's a star of school, stage and playing field. A golden boy in a Jack Wills hoodie.

They have nothing in common but a pair of cheating exes. So why can't they stop snogging?

MY THOUGHTS

This book was an impulsive buy for me. I had seen a blog post that I really enjoyed and it told me the book was only 3 euros on the book Depository and well I bought it, because it had good ratings and it looked really cute. It's been on my shelves for quite some time before I read it though. I'm not sure why I never started on it earlier, because in the end it was super cute.

This book was the first book I read on my I want to read 10 books before school starts readathon, which I failed, because school starts next monday and I have only read 4 books. I can maybe read another 2, but I doubt that unfortunately. I'll try though!

Adorkable is about Jeane who is a blogger, a really popular blogger and lots of followers. She has a boyfriend that she likes, yet she doesn't really. She is a bit confused sometimes. Michael is a great character, I loved him. He's so cute, but at first he is really mean and I was like, meh should I continue. But the longer you read, the better it gets in my opinion. I have read good reviews about this book and I have read GREAT reviews about this one.

I love the writing in this book. It's simple and I was expecting some young adult fiction. But it had some detailed sexual parts. I didn't mind at all, but I wasn't expecting it at all. It was good, sure it was good, and it wasn't Fifty Shades of Grey either, but it just wasn't what I was expecting in a book like this.

I would recommend this book to people that enjoy romance and contemporary novels with a hint of the new adult genre.

  1. I really liked how realistic those sexual scenes were. It wasn't all rainbows and butterflies. I expected it, because I was told by someone else there were some steamy parts, so I liked that. I agree that you really have to get to know the characters, because in the beginning I wasn't a fan of them.
