Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. She is less than thrilled about boarding school in Paris - until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, he has it all - including a serious girlfriend. Will Anna get her French kiss?

MY THOUGHTS

Anna and the French Kiss. This book. Wow. Why didn't I read this book a whole lot earlier? It was because Francine had pushed me into reading this one, otherwise it would still be on my TBR-list for another few months. But this book is absolutely amazing. I really adored it. I loved every single page of it and I even had all the feels on the first page. Books are not healthy.

This was definitely a different read next to all the dystopian, fantasy and paranormal books that have been on the market lately. I really like contemporary books, they are so nice and fluffy. Definitely nice when you have just read an intense dystopian book. Anna and the French Kiss was definitely a book that fits in the fluffy reads category.

Anna gets sent off to boarding school by her father. He thinks it will be a wonderful experience and a lot of fun to learn a new language and to see a new country. Anna loves Atlanta with her best friend, Bridge and her love interest, Toph. She has no interest in traveling to a country where she doesn't even know how to speak the language. She assumes she will hate the trip, but she gives it her best shot.

I have not yet read anything else by Stephanie Perkins, but after reading this book I am convinced to read the rest of these books as well, because they are so cute and adorable. And I'm sure that all the books in this 'series' will also be amazing.

I loved Anna right from the beginning, she is just like me, although I would love to have the opportunity to move abroad for a year. But Anna is just so innocent, her thoughts are of any girl her age and I loved looking into her head. And then we have St. Clair. I adore St. Clair. Do people like him really exist? If they do, please send them my way.

All I can say is that you have to read this book and I may be the last one reading this book, but I really recommend this one, and I thank Francine for recommending this book to me. I love this book so much.

  4. Oh I'm pretty sure we'd be fighting for them. But it would be worth it! *brews magical potion to turn every guy into someone like St. Clair*

  6. I read this book at the end of last year, and it surprised me how good it is. I actually read the whole book in two nights, I couldn't put it down! I haven't read any other of Perkins' books either, but I really want to read Lola and the Boy Next Door now!
